Facebook is still a very powerful marketing tool with 2 billion monthly active users and over 1 billion daily active users. Here are some tips to have a great Facebook business page!

1. Add a recognizable profile picture and header
This can be anything from a company logo or a photo of yourself or your team. You can create really good profile pics and headers using Canva.com where you can add in your opening times or any area of your practice that you want to promote.

2. Optimize Your Photos
Facebook is a very visual social media platform so you have to make sure that you use as many high quality visuals on your profile as possible. From your profile pictures to your content, using HD images also gives your profile a more polished look. Sites like Unspalsh are great for stock images!

3. Fill Your “About” Section with Info and Milestones
Your about section is very important as it’s one of the first things that people read when they go onto your business page so make sure to fill it with valuable yet straightforward information about your business and what you do! Another great element to add is your company milestones like awards or major events for example to establish you or your practice as a thought leader in your local area or your specialist area.

4. Add a Clear Call To Action
CTA’s are a great way for marketers to drive traffic from their Facebook Business Page back to their website. There are numerous powerful CTA’s to choose from: Book Now
Contact Us, Use App, Shop Now, Sign Up, Watch Video so pick whichever is most relevant to you and your brand and what you want your customers to do.

5. Determine The Timing and Frequency of Your Posts
Determining when and how much you’re going to post on your page. You are aiming for consistent rather than sporadic! This is also where a content calendar comes in handy (check out our blog post about them!) which will help you establish content, ideas and even the look and feel of your Facebook business page!

6. Install A Facebook Remarketing Pixel
Have you noticed that after you visit a website or product, you start seeing their ads on Facebook? This is called remarketing or retargeting. Those websites use Facebook’s retargeting technology, commonly known as Facebook Pixel. This pixel allows facebook to retarget people visiting your website through facebook ads. The retargeting pixel doesn’t add anything visible to your site, it simply sends a browser cookie to your visitors. In short, Facebook Pixel is like Google Analytics for Facebook ads!
