A compelling lead magnet needs to grab your target audience’s attention, make them understand the value of your product and get them interested in starting a relationship with you. You want to create a lead magnet or offer that your audience can’t refuse, it should make them think “I HAVE to read this”.

STEP 1:     IDENTIFY YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE

The first step is to decide who you are talking to. Most Physiotherapy Practice content is too general, tries to talk to ALL people and ends up being bland and boring. An effective lead magnet addresses real needs and challenges faced by real people. So pick WHO are your talking to 

STEP 2:  HOW ARE YOU GOING TO HELP THEM

Determine what value you are going to add to this group of people. How can you help them feel better? Your potential clients want quick and straightforward instructions on how you can help them get rid of, reduce or manage their symptoms. 

STEP 3: USE YOUR REAL-LIFE PATIENTS

To create really good content start paying attention to the common questions, ailments and issues that your patients have every day in your practice. Use each consultation as inspiration to creating content that has real value. 

Also get feedback from your patients on your content plans. Float your ideas to your patients and see which ideas garner most interest from them. Keep an idea journal on your desk so that you are thinking dynamically and in real time about the content that would be of actual benefit for your patients. 

STEP 4: CREATE THE LEAD MAGNET

Your aim is to create a piece of content that provide VALUE to your patients life quickly. When they see the title they should instantly want to download or watch it because they believe it will really help them in their lives. Be short, be practical and keep it simple. Don’t put content in for the sake of it. Keep it short, snappy and helpful.
